Founder of Focus Resourcing in 2005, Sue has over 25 years’ experience in the recruitment industry and is still as passionate about the industry today as she was back then. Sue is proud to have opened 3 new offices and even more proud of the fact her staff retention is unique in recruitment. Sue highly values her team and they love her hands on approach.

Pastimes: Horse riding and keeping fit

Lisa has been with Focus since 2011 and has over 20 years’ experience in the recruitment industry. She oversees our very busy payroll for all 3 sites and her strong attention to detail, knowledge and willingness to help is why we cannot do without her.

Pastimes: Boxercise and family

Jo is our Finance Manager and has over 25 years’ experience in Finance, spanning the IT and Marketing sectors. Jo has worked in a number of small companies as Head of Finance in her career and she enjoys being able to make a real impact in her role. Jo is adept at supporting business teams with finance, so they can focus on business growth.

Pastimes: Pilates and family

Sharon joined Focus in 2011 and has worked in the recruitment industry for nearly 30 years. She has unrivalled knowledge of her clients, candidates, and the local job market. She has covered a wide range of sectors from commercial and marketing, through to finance and HR. Sharon is passionate about her work and has always believed that delivering excellent service to clients and candidates alike has resulted in her building such long term relationships with her clients.

Pastimes: Cold water swimming and travel

Julie joined Focus in 2008 following a career in HR. She has an excellent knowledge of the Reading market place and builds long standing relationships with client and candidates. Julie is passionate about delivering a first-class service to both parties.

Pastimes: Family and travelling

Barbara joined our team in September 2018 and has over 20 years’ experience in business working across recruitment, education, finance and PR. She approaches her role with energy and delights in building strong relationships with her clients and candidates.

Pastimes: Disco’s and cold water swimming

Chloe joined us in 2021 and has over 2 years’ experience in resourcing. Chloe enjoys searching the market place for candidates and ensuring she obtains the best match possible for our clients. She builds excellent relationships with our candidates and our clients. Chloe is tenacious and determined when it comes to filling our clients roles.

Pastimes: Keep fit and travel

Wilma joined to oversee security at our Reading office in October 2018, she is great at sniffing out new talent and assessing visitors to the office. She has boundless energy required to work in the recruitment industry.

Pastimes: Bones and long walks

Hannah joined the Focus family in 2014 and has worked in the recruitment industry since 2004. Hannah has always managed a temporary and permanent desk providing one point of contact for her clients and candidates and prides herself on establishing long lasting relationships spanning over 10 years. Specialising in recruiting across all commercial sectors, she often diversifies to fullfil all clients recruitment needs.

Pastimes: Big lover of animals and sewing projects

Having already worked as a 360 Recruitment Consultant for over 3 years Shannon is fully aware as to the needs of our clients and candidates. Shannon now supports the entire client and candidate base at the Essex office working closely with the Branch Manager to ensure a smooth and successful recruitment process for all.

Genuinely interested in others (plus loves a good chat), she prides herself on her ability to make others feel comfortable, valued, and heard.

Pastimes: Dancing and keeping fit

Billy is excited to have joined the Essex office recently.  In a past life Billy worked as a Chef, and is certainly used to multi-tasking, working under pressure and of course, keeping his customers happy!  Billy has extensive experience in sales and customer service and his natural upbeat and approachable personality means he fits well into the Focus Family.  He will not only leave a smile on your face but also find that perfect match for your team.

Past times: Enjoying family life, long dog walks & good food

Alison has worked at Focus since 2011. She has over 25 years’ experience in Recruitment working 16 years for a large corporate client at a senior level. She is a respected manager and has been responsible for the management and development of the Cardiff team.

Pastimes: Outside work she has been on a diet for last 10 years and try’s anything to keep fit usually a different craze every month!!!

Dan joined Focus Resourcing in 2014. Committed to finding the right professional and cultural fit for his clients and candidates. Maintains superb relationships with clients; understanding their requirements to ensure he finds exactly what they want. Commercially astute, he works across multiple disciplines including, Finance, IT, HR and Marketing. Dan is passionate about developing collaborative relationships with his clients, and really is the partner of choice when it comes to finding your next shining star.
