IT Engineer

Working for a well-established school based in Reading, this IT Engineer position is paying £28,906 - £33,136 per annum. You'll join a friendly IT team providing day-to-day technical support across the school, helping to keep its systems, equipment and network running smoothly.

Duties:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff and students
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues
• Install, configure and maintain laptops, PCs, mobile devices and other IT equipment
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory and user accounts
• Assist with network infrastructure, security, updates and troubleshooting

Experience required:

• Previous experience providing IT support
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues
• Knowledge of Windows-based devices and applications
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
